CONCERT BUYING

---

RKZ specializes in concert buying for fairs, festivals, events, and live music venues. So much goes into putting on a show, from finding an artist, negotiating the deal, working out logistics, getting the proper production needed, all the way through to the last song of the night. RKZ takes the burden off the event or venue, taking control of all show aspects so that you get to actually enjoy the show you brought to your crowd.

It all starts with the event consultation. First, we need to know how the show will flow and happen. Is there adequate space? Where will the stage go? Are there enough porta-potties? Everything starts somewhere and for your event, it starts with the infrastructure needed to pull off a great show. What’s your budget? What’s your market like? We can do a market analysis to make sure your ticket prices are not outrageous, but more attainable towards your goal of a successful show.

RKZ will work tirelessly to develop availability lists and suggestions, based on active trends, social media, chart ratings, popularity, and more. Your event will get to choose which artist you want on the stage. Having a stable, realistic budget in mind is key here. There are a lot of costs, hospitality, and “extras” involved with a live concert show. RKZ will make sure that your event stays within the budget it needs to.

RKZ works as an independent contractor of your event, representing your event in contract negotiations and fulfillment. Our agents find ways to minimize the “extras” and keep the show on target. When working with contracts, RKZ agents have built a reputation with all the artist rep agencies, meaning we get more favorable pricing then someone just emailing out of the blue. When it comes to contracts, riders, and addendums, RKZ agents know what to look for that others may just pass over. Don’t let it happen to you, talk to an RKZ agent today.

RKZ utilizes multiple production companies across the region and beyond to secure the best show possible, within you budget. Each production company has different strengths. We take the time to match those strengths with the artists' show to bring an overall great experience. Every production company that we use is professional, insured, and focused on your show being the best no matter what.

RKZ provides one agent, typically the buyer assigned to your event, on-site for the duration of show day. These on-site agents oversee the advancing of shows, load-in, soundchecks, gates, flow of attendees, artist merchandise sales, meet & greets, security operations, load-out, and settlement with artists. The RKZ on-site agent will handle as much as possible so that your committee and event gets the opportunity to enjoy what you’ve brought to town.
